Domestic Banks’ BIS Capital Ratios as of end-March 2011 (preliminary)

On a preliminary basis, domestic banks’ BIS capital adequacy ratio under Basel II as of end-March 2011 was 14.23%, down 0.32 percentage points* from 14.55% at end-December 2010. Banks’ Tier 1 capital ratio was 11.21%, down 0.37 percentage points from 11.58% at end-December 2010.
