Dear Members and Friends,

On behalf of the AustCham Board I would like to introduce to you Ms Kim, Yon Hoon, AustCham's new Executive Director from 1 June 2010.

Ms Kim was the successful candidate following a comprehensive recruitment process during which the Chamber received over 30 applications. We would like to thank all who applied for the position for your interest in AustCham and, while not successful on this occasion, we hope that you will participate in AustCham’s events and maintain your interest in our Chamber.



Jennifer will join the team next Monday, May 17 and until May 31 we will work together to ensure a smooth transition process. Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.



In our June issue of the DownUnder Update Jennifer will introduce herself to you, in the meantime, below is a brief note for your information.




Jennifer.YH.Kim grew up in Korea and studied at the University of Pennsylvania for one year during her college years. She has a Master's degree from Yonsei Graduate School of International Studies. Previously, she worked for The Europe-Korea Foundation, MOFAT and shortly for SC First Bank Securities Services. Jennifer is an open-minded and passionate person so looking forward to build up a strong relationship with AustCham members.
